Welcome to Takimichi Radio – Experiments in AI music.
The objective of Takimichi Radio is simply to test AI music generation. The music, lyrics, and album art are all AI generated, and that is kind of the point. I am not a musician; I’m a hobbyist at best. All the albums are an experiment with how Suno interprets various musical genres, with each album having a central theme that is completely random and usually unrelated to the genre itself.
The music is generated by Suno, which I have found to be the most user-friendly AI music generator, and also the most creative. I primarily use ChatGPT for the lyrics, but also use Google’s Gemini now and then, and have also used Claude on occasion. I find ChatGPT to be the most reliable. Google’s Gemini tends to produce more creative lyrics and song structure, but Suno finds this difficult to interpret so it often doesn’t translate into a listenable song. Claude often produces a very good song for any given genre, but will often follow that structure very closely for all following songs.
According to Suno’s terms of service, I technically own the copyrights to all these songs, but I am offering them here for (free!) download, and I feel people should be free to use these as they see fit. I wouldn’t mind if you streamed them, used them in a compilation, remixed them, played them live, or even produced actual CD’s of the albums and sold them at your local flea market – after all, these songs aren’t really mine as I didn’t really create them, I was just kind of ‘in the room’ while ChatGPT wrote some lyrics and Suno produced the music.
